Description & Operation

The remote keyless entry system allows doors to be locked and unlocked, and luggage compartment to be opened by low-power electrical waves emitted from a hand-held transmitter. Pushing UNLOCK button once will deactivate the theft deterrent system and unlock driver's door. Pushing UNLOCK button again within 3 seconds will unlock the other doors. If doors are not opened within 30 seconds, all the doors will automatically relock. The wireless door lock control receiver ECU is protected by DOME fuse (7.5-amp) located in the engine compartment junction block.
