Rear Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR. 
    1. Remove the seat cushion and 2 headrests.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and seatback.
      1. Torque:  18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 in.lbf)
    3. Disconnect the speed sensor connector and pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet.
  2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR. 
    1. Remove the clamp bolt holding the sensor wire harness to the suspension arm No. 1.
      1. Torque:  5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
    2. Remove the clamp nut holding the sensor wire harness to the body.
      1. Torque:  5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

    3. Remove the sensor installation bolt and speed sensor from the axle carrier.
      1. Torque:  8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
