Front Doors

  1. Remove door trim panel and service hole cover. Disconnect 6-pin electrical connector from door lock motor (driver side), or 4-pin connector (passenger side). Connect ohmmeter between the following door lock motor connector (component side) terminals. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
    • Left front door motor; terminals No. 1 (Blue/Black wire) and No. 2 (White/Black wire).
    • Right front door motor; terminals No. 3 (White/Black wire) and No. 4 (Blue/Red wire).
  2. When door is unlocked, continuity should not exist. When door is locked, continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace door unlock detection switch and retest system operation.
