Test No. 10: Driver's Door Courtesy Switch Circuit

Check driver's door courtesy switch. See DOOR COURTESY SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace driver's door courtesy switch as necessary. Retest system operation. If driver's door courtesy switch is okay, go to next step.
Ensure switch has a good ground. Check circuits for faults between driver's door courtesy light, driver's door courtesy switch and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace as necessary. If circuits are okay, see SYMPTOM INDEX (LIGHT CONTROL) table and perform appropriate test.
