Description & Operation

The remote keyless entry system allows the doors to be locked and unlocked, and luggage compartment to be opened by low-power electrical waves emitted from a hand-held transmitter. Pushing the transmitter UNLOCK button once will deactivate the theft deterrent system and unlock driver's door. Pushing the transmitter UNLOCK button again within 3 seconds will unlock the other doors. Pushing the transmitter luggage compartment button will unlock the luggage compartment. However, these functions do not operate if ignition switch is in ON position. If doors are not opened within 30 seconds, all the doors will automatically relock.
