Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION




INSPECT THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
a. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals VC and ETA.

Resistance: 1.25 - 2.35 k(Ohm) at 20°C (68°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the throttle position sensor.

c. Reconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
