Fuel Lid Opener Motor Circuit

NOTE: If LEXUS scan tool is available, start test from step 1. If this scan tool is not available, start test from step 2.
  1. Using scan tool, check fuel lid opener motor using ACTIVE TEST. If fuel lid opener motor is faulty, go to next step. If fuel lid opener motor is okay, go to next test listed in BODY NO. 4 CONTROL SYSTEM  table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
  2. Check FUEL OPN fuse located in luggage room junction block. Replace fuse as necessary. If fuse is okay, check fuel lid opener motor. See FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR  under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace fuel lid opener motor as necessary. If fuel lid opener motor is okay, go to next step.
  3. Check circuits for faults between fuel lid opener motor and body No. 4 ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace as necessary. If circuits are okay, go to next test listed in BODY NO. 4 CONTROL SYSTEM  table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
