Combination Meter: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE METER COVER 

    Remove the 6 screws and the meter cover.

    NOTE: Be careful of the high-temperature earth plate immediately after the ignition switch turned off.
    Do not place the combination meter with its front side down for 30 min or more after it is disassembled.

  2. REMOVE PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 8 screws and the telltale light assembly.
    2. Disconnect a flat circuit plate.

      HINT:

      When disconnecting the flat circuit plate, disconnect it holding the connector.

  3. REMOVE METER ECU PLATE 

    Remove the 4 screws and the meter ECU plate assembly.

  4. REMOVE METER CASE AND METER CIRCUIT PLATE 

    Be careful not to break 5 claws on the meter case when the meter circuit plate is removed from the meter case.

  5. REMOVE METER GLASS AND METER PLATE 

    Remove the screw.
