Pin Voltage Tests

Using a DVOM connected to ground, backprobe to measure voltage or resistance at appropriate terminal at ECM harness connector unless otherwise specified. See ECM PIN VOLTAGE CHART  table. See Figure.

Terminal No. (Symbol), Wiring Color Condition Standard Voltage
E5-4 (STP) - E3-7 (E1), Green/White - Brown Ignition Switch ON & Depress Brake Pedal 10-16 Volts
E5-4 (STP) - E3-7 (E1), Green/White - Brown Ignition Switch OFF Or Release Brake Pedal Below 1 Volt
E6-8 (ST1-) - E3-7 (E1), Black/Blue - Brown Ignition Switch ON & Release Brake Pedal 10-16 Volts
E6-8 (ST1-) - E3-7 (E1), Black/Blue - Brown Ignition Switch OFF Or Depress Brake Pedal Below 1 Volt
E5-31 (CCS) - E3-7 (E1), Red/Yellow - Brown Ignition Switch ON 10-16 Volts
E5-31 (CCS) - E3-7 (E1), Red/Yellow - Brown Ignition Switch ON, CANCEL Switch Held ON 6.9-9.8 Volts
E5-31 (CCS) - E3-7 (E1), Red/Yellow - Brown Ignition Switch ON, SET/COAST Switch Held ON 4.7-6.9 Volts
