Battery Capacity Check
Open transmitter and remove battery. Connect 2 new 1.5-volt dry-cell batteries in series. See Fig 1. Connect battery positive terminal to battery receptacle side terminal and battery negative terminal to bottom terminal to provide 3 volts to transmitter. Attempt to operate door lock by remote control. If door locks operate, replace battery. If door locks do not operate, replace transmitter and reprogram. See PROGRAMMING .
