Deceleration Sensor Zero Point Calibration

NOTE: Perform zero point calibration of yaw rate sensor first. See YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION .
  1. Using special tool (09843-18020), jumper between terminals Ts and E1 of (DLC1). See Fig 1.
  2. Turn ignition switch on. Ensure vehicle is in a stationary condition with shift lever in Park position.
  3. Check that VSC warning light is lit for about 4 seconds and then starts flashing at .13 second intervals.
  4. After confirming flashing of VSC warning light for 2 seconds, turn ignition switch off.
  5. Remove special tool.
