Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the door lock control switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS & LIFTGATE article under DOOR LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, replace the door lock control switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS & LIFTGATE article under DOOR LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  2. Check the wiring harness and connector between the door lock control switch and body ECU. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
  3. Check the wiring harness and connector between the door lock control switch and power window master switch. If the results are OK, proceed to the next circuit inspection of the problem symptom. See PROBLEM SYMPTOM INDEX  table. If the results are not good, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
