Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY (DRIVER'S DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the D17 connector.
    2. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      GND <=> Body ground (D17-2 <=> Body ground) W-B <=> Body ground Constant Continuity
      BDR <=> GND (D17-10 <=> D17-2) L-W <=> W-B Constant 10-14V
      CPUB <=> GND (D17-9 <=> D17-2) W-R <=> W-B Constant 10-14V
      SIG <=> GND (D17-20 <=> D17-2) B-R <=> W-B Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0V <=> 10-14V
      MDN <=> MUP (D17-11 <=> D17-1) R <=> G Constant Continuity
      LMT <=> SGND (D17-5 <=> D17-13) LG-B <=> W-B Driver door glass fully closed No continuity
      Driver door glass opened by 4 mm (0.16 in.) Continuity

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Connect the D17 connector, and check the voltage between each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      WLSW <=> GND (D17-6 <=> D17-2) GR <=> W-B Ignition switch ON, window lock switch LOCK <=> NORMAL 0V <=> 10-14V

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, replace the power window regulator master switch.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY (PASSENGER'S DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the F13 connector.
    2. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION CHART

      GND <=> Body ground (F13-2 <=> Body ground) W-B <=> Body ground Constant Continuity
      BDR <=> GND (F13-10 °F13-2) L-O <=> W-B Constant 10-14 V

      MDN <=> MUP (F13-11 °F13-1) R <=> G Constant Continuity

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Connect the F13 connector, and check the voltage between each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR (LH SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the R15 connector.
    2. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION CHART

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Connect the R15 connector, and check the voltage between each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assy rear (LH side).

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR (RH SIDE) 
    1. Disconnect the R16 connector.
    2. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION CHART

      BDR <=> GND (R16-12 <=> R16-7) L-W <=> W-B Constant 10-14V

      LMT <=> SGND (R16-3 <=> R16-5) LG-B <=> W-B Rear door glass RH fully closed No continuity

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Connect the R16 connector, and check the voltage between each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assy rear (RH side).

  5. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY (BODY ECU) (REAR SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the 2B, 2E, 2F and 2G driver side J/B connectors.
    2. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      B <=> Body ground (2F-7 <=> Body ground) R <=> Body ground Constant 10-14V
      BDR1 <=> Body ground (2G-14 <=> Body ground) L-W <=> Body ground Constant 10-14V
      BDR2 <=> Body ground (2E-1 <=> Body ground) W-B <=> Body ground Constant 10-14V
      SGND <=> Body ground (2B-11 <=> Body ground) BR <=> Body ground Constant Continuity
      GND <=> Body ground (2R-8 <=> Body ground) W-B <=> Body ground Constant Continuity

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

  6. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY (BODY ECU) (LEFT SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the B4 driver side J/B (body ECU) connector.
    2. Check the continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      KSW <=> Body ground (B4-19 <=> Body ground) L <=> Body ground No key in the ignition key cylinder <=> With key No continuity <=> Continuity

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness side.

    3. Connect the B4 driver side J/B (body ECU) connector, and check the voltage between each terminal of the connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINALS SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition
      DCTY <=> Body ground (B6-1 <=> Body ground) R-G <=> Body ground Driver's door CLOSED <=> OPEN 10-14V <=> Below 0 V

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, replace the driver side J/B.
