- Disconnect the D12 master switch connector and check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
Standard:
CHECKING VOLTAGE AND CONTINUITY OF EACH TERMINALSymbols (Terminal No.) Wiring color Condition Specified condition BW(1), B(2) (D12-7) <--> Body ground L-W <--> - Constant 10 - 14 V E (D12-1) <--> Body ground W-B <--> - Constant Continuity SIG (D-11) <--> Body ground B-R <--> - Ignition switch turned to ON from OFF 0 V --> 14 V (1) w/ Jam Protection (2) w/o Jam Protection If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
- Reconnect the D12 master switch connector, and check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.
Standard:
If the result is not as specified, the master switch may be defective.
- Check the illumination.
- When the ignition switch is turned to ON from OFF with the connector connected, check that the illumination (LED) AUTO will light up.
- Disconnect the D12 master switch connector and check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
