Section 203 (YAWRATE Sensor): Replacement

NOTE: Do not separate the sensor from the bracket.

REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REAR (see REPLACEMENT ) in INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER article.
Apply parking brake:
Set the shift lever in the N position.
Turn the shift lever knob sub-assy counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assy.

REMOVE RR CONSOLE BOX (see REPLACEMENT ) in INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER article.
1. TMC made:
  Remove the 2 bolts and 2 screws.
2. TMMK made:
  Remove the 2 bolts < C > and 2 screws < H >.
3. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the RR console box.

REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR
1. Disconnect the yawrate sensor connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and yawrate sensor.

INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR
1. Install the yawrate sensor with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)
2. Connect the yawrate sensor connector.

INSTALL RR CONSOLE BOX (Reverse removal)
INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL UPPER REAR (Reverse removal)
PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (See PRE-CHECK )
