Body Control Module: Installation

- Place the BCM onto the mounting bracket.
- Install the four screws holding the BCM to the bulkhead (Fig 1).
- Connect the five wire connectors to the BCM.
- Attach the 72-way bulkhead connector onto the Body Control Module (BCM) mounting assembly.
- Install the knee blocker airbag (Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS ).
- Install the lower instrument panel silencer.
WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE. (Refer to AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS ) FIRST.
- Verify vehicle and system operation.
