Section 430 (Cruise Control Systems): Cable: Installation

- Route cable.
- Slide speed control cable into bracket.
- Connect the vacuum line connection at rear of intake manifold.
- Install clip attaching cable to servo (Figure ).
- Install two nuts attaching mounting bracket and speed control cable to servo (Figure ). Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS for torque specifications.
- Connect electrical connectors and vacuum hose.
- Install speed control cable to throttle cam by sliding clasp into hole (Figure ).
- Install the servo bracket bolt. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS for torque specifications.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
