Integrated Power Module: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the hood cable retaining clip near the Integrated Power Module (IPM).
Using a flat bladed tool, depress the four locking tabs on the side of the IPM (Fig 1 )

Lift the IPM from the bracket.
Disconnect the electrical harness connectors from the IPM.
Disconnect the battery connection to the IPM by removing the nut attaching the connection to the bolt.
