Outside Handle: Removal

  1. Remove liftgate trim panel. (Refer to TRIM PANEL  ).
  2. Disconnect the exterior handle electrical connectors (Fig 1 ).

  3. Remove the two screws attaching liftgate handle to liftgate inner panel.
  4. Remove the exterior handle/license plate light assembly.
