Sliding Roof System: Reset

NOTE: Always reset the sliding motor whenever disconnecting the battery, replace (removing and installing) the sliding roof or the PWR No. 1 fuse. If not, the AUTO operation and jam protection function will not work.
  1. RESET SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR (MOTOR) 
    1. Set the sliding roof glass in the fully tilt-up position.
    2. Push and hold the sliding roof switch UP until the sliding roof tilts down a little.
    3. Check that the sliding roof tilts up/down and slides open/close in the AUTO operation.

      HINT:

      If the sliding roof is not in the correct position, press and hold the sliding roof switch UP and CLOSE until 10 seconds have passed after the roof stops moving or starts the reverse operation. The reset operation will be completed.

  2. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM OPERATION (See  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION   ) 

    HINT:

    If the jam protection function does not work, reset the sliding roof drive gear (motor) again.
