Fuel Lid: Components: Installation

INSTALL NO. 3 FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE SHIELD
INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID
1. Install the lock retainer with the nut to the opening lid.
  Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in..Ibf)
2. Using a riveter, install the fuel filler opening lid with the 2 rivets to the body.

INSTALL FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE SHIELD
1. Remove the fuel tank cap.
2. Install the fuel inlet pipe shield to the body.
3. Install the fuel tank cap quickly.
  CAUTION: Always keep the tank cap closed when it is not required to be open. Keep all fire away during the operation.
4. Tighten the 4 screws.
INSTALL FUEL TANK CAP TETHER TO FUEL FILLER OPENING LID
Install the fuel tank cap tether with the clip to the fuel filler opening lid.

INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the connector, then install the lock assembly with the nut.
  Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in..Ibf)
2. Torque the nut from the fuel lid side.
  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..Ibf)

3. Connect the connector, then install the lamp failure relay with the nut.

INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM FRONT COVER
INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
