NOTE:
Components are grouped into 2 categories. The first category covers INPUT DEVICES, which control or produce voltage signals monitored by Engine Control Module (ECM). The second category covers OUTPUT SIGNALS, which are components controlled by ECM.
Vehicles are equipped with different combinations of input devices. Not all devices are used on all models. To determine input device usage on a specific model, see ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL article.
