How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT: 

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures on the following pages.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK  ) 
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
3. DTC CHECK (See  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  ) 
   1. Check for DTCs and make a note of the code that is output.
   2. Delete the DTC.
   3. Check if the DTC is output once again when the problem symptom is simulated based on the noted code.
      1. With an output of the code, proceed to A.
      2. Without an output of the code, proceed to B.
   1. A: GO TO STEP   6 
   2. B: GO TO NEXT STEP 
4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
5. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING 
   1. Pre-check (See PRE-CHECK )
   2. Circuit inspection (See DTC B1221 POWER WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT ON DRIVER DOOR  - REMOTE UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE )
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
6. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
7. RESET POWER WINDOW MOTOR 
   1. If any of the power window switch illuminations is blinking, reset the power window for the switch with the blinking illumination.
      1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
      2. Open the door glass.
      3. Fully pull up the power window switch until the door glass is fully closed.
      4. Continue to hold the switch 1 second more even after the door glass is fully closed.
      5. Check that the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates completely.
   1. GO TO NEXT STEP
