Fuel Line Quick Connector

Remove fuel pipe clamp No. 1. See Fig 1.
Check that there is no dirt on pipe and around connector before disconnecting. Disconnect by hand. If connector and pipe are stuck, pinch fuel pipe with fingers and push fuel tube connector to fuel pipe by pressing release buttons, then pull connector out from pipe. Keep dirt from ends of lines.
When connecting, check for damage or dirt around connecting part of pipe. Match axis of connector with axis of pipe and push into connector until it clicks. If connection is tight, apply a very small amount of fresh engine oil on tip of pipe. DO NOT allow any oil inside pipe. After connection, pull on connection to insure connection is secure. Check for any fuel leaks.
