Fuel Pump: Installation

Install fuel pump filter with a NEW clip.
Install a fuel pump spacer to fuel pump. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a NEW "O" ring, Install it to fuel pump. Apply a light coat of gasoline to "O" ring again. Install fuel pump to fuel filter. See Fig 1.
Apply a light coat of gasoline to a NEW "O" ring and install it to fuel suction tube assembly. Apply a light coat of gasoline to "O" ring again. Install sub tank to fuel filter. See Fig 2.
Install vapor pressure sensor with tube joint clip. Check that there are no scratches or dirt on connecting parts. Check that fuel tube joint connector is fully inserted. Check that tube joint clip is on collar of fuel tube joint. Check that connectors are securely connected.
Install fuel suction with pump and gauge tube assembly. See FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP & GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY .
