Fuel System: Notes

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory system may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES - LEXUS article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

CAUTION: Before working on fuel system, disconnect negative terminal cable from battery. DO NOT smoke or work near open flame. Keep gasoline away from rubber or leather parts. Perform fuel system pressure release as injector systems are under high pressure and will spray fuel if lines are opened under pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
