Without Hand-Held Tester

  1. Using special tool (09843-18040), connect terminals Tc and CG of DLC3. See Fig 1.
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON. Depress the brake pedal 8 or more times within 5 seconds.
  3. Check that the ABS warning light shows the normal code and "CHECK VSC" is not displayed on the multi-information display. See Fig 2.
  4. Remove the special tool from the DLC3.
