Parking Brake Switch

Disconnect electrical connector from parking brake switch. Parking brake switch is located near top of parking brake pedal. See Figure. Using an ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between parking brake switch terminal and body of parking brake switch with switch pin released (ON position) and no continuity exists with switch pin depressed (OFF position). See Fig 1. If continuity is not as specified, replace parking brake switch.
