System Operation Check: Notes

NOTE:
System operation check may also be referred to as road test. This test should be performed only when referred here by the preliminary inspection.
With vehicle operating at a speed greater than 25 MPH, turn cruise control switch to ON position and test cruise control switch functions. If CRUISE indicator light on instrument cluster does not illuminate when cruise control switch is in ON position, diagnose CRUISE indicator light. See SYMPTOM INDEX table under SYSTEM TESTS.
