Engine Control Module: Removal

Disconnect negative battery cable. Engine Control Module (ECM) is located behind glove box and contains 5 electrical connectors. See Figure. Remove passenger side door opening scuff plate, kick panel and glove box door for access to ECM. Disconnect electrical connectors at ECM. Remove necessary retaining nuts and brackets for removal of ECM. Remove ECM.
