Inspection Procedure

NOTE: In case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start from step 2.

Check The Back Door Unlock Detection Switch Using TOYOTA Hand-Held Tester.
PREPARATION: Connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC3.

CHECK: the back door unlock detection switch using DATA LIST.
1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table . SeePROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
2. NG: Go to step 2.
Check Back Door Unlock Detection Switch .
1. NG: Replace the back door lock motor.
2. OK: Go to step 3.
Check Wiring Harness And Connector Between Back Door Unlock Detection Switch And Back Door ECU.
1. NG: Repair or replace wiring harness or connector.
2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table . See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
