Inspection Procedure

  1. Check automatic light control sensor  . See INSPECT AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL .
    1. NG  : Replace automatic light control sensor.
    2. OK  : Go to step  2.
  2. Check harness and connector between automatic light control sensor and body ECU  . See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS .
    1. NG  : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK  : Go to step  3.
  3. Does the system operate normally after replacement of automatic light control sensor. 
    1. Yes  : Replace automatic light control sensor.
    2. NO  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
