Inspection Procedure

NOTE: In case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start from step 2.

Check key unlock warning buckle switch using TOYOTA hand-held tester.
Preparation connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC 3.

Check the key unlock warning switch using DATA LIST.
1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
2. NG: Go to step 2 .
Check key unlock warning switch . See INSPECT KEY UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH CONTINUITY .
1. NG : Replace the key unlock warning switch.
2. OK : Go to step 3.
Check wire harness and connector between key unlock warning switch and Body ECU . See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS .
1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
