Inspection Procedure

  1. Check Manual Up/Down Function (Driver Side) 
    1. Check that the door glass can be operate manually.
    1. NG: Another Problem (See  MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE (DRIVER SIDE)  ) 
    2. OK: Go To Next Step 
  2. Check Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assy

    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Operate the power window switch at the driver side.
    3. Check the blinking pattern of the illumination as shown in the illustration.

      1. If the switch indicates (1), proceed to A.
      2. If the switch indicates (2) or (3), proceed to B.
      3. If the switch indicates normal, proceed to C.
    1. A: Go To Next Step 
    2. B: Go To Step   4 
    3. C: Replace Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assy 
  3. Reset Power Window Regulator Motor (Driver Side) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Open the door glass.
    3. Pull up the power window switch for 2 notches until the door glass closes.
    4. Check that the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates completely.
    1. OK: END 
    2. NG: Go To Next Step 
  4. Check Harness And Connector (Master Switch >--< Motor) 
    1. Disconnect the D17 master switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P12 power window motor connector (driver side).
    3. Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Replace Power Window Regulator Motor Assy LH (Driver Side) 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector
