How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

NOTE:
Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures in this article.

- Perform Troubleshooting

- Circuit inspection (See CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION for related symptom under PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Adjust, Repair Or Replace
- Reset Power Window Motor
- If any of the power window switch illuminations is blinking after repair, reset the power window.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Open the driver side door glass.
- Pull up the AUTO switch fully of the power window master switch until the door glass closes.
- Check that the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates completely.
- END
- If any of the power window switch illuminations is blinking after repair, reset the power window.

- Diagnostic Trouble Code Check (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
- Check for DTCs and make a note of the code that is output.
- Delete the DTC.
- Check if the DTC will be output once again when the problem symptom is simulated based on the noted code.
- With an output of the code, proceed to A.
- Without an output of the code, proceed to B.
- A: Go to step 5
- B: Go to Next Step

- Circuit inspection (See INSPECTION PROCEDURE - INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
- Adjust, Repair Or Replace
- Reset Power Window Motor
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Open the back door glass.
- Push down the back door power window switch until the door glass is fully closed, and hold the switch 1 second more even after the door glass is fully closed.
- Check that the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates completely.
- END
