Inspection Procedure

  1. Check Harness And Connector (Power Source)

    1. Disconnect the P9 power window switch connector.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Check the voltage between the switch terminal 4 of the wire harness side connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 - 14 V 

    1. OK: Go to Next Step 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector (Switch >--< Relay) 
  2. Inspect Power Window Regulator Switch Assy (Passenger Side) 
    1. Remove the power window switch.
    2. Check the continuity between the switch terminals when the switch is operated.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Go To Next Step 
    2. NG: Replace Power Window Regulator Switch Assy (Passenger Side) 
  3. Check Harness And Connector (Switch >--< Motor) 
    1. Disconnect the P13 power window motor connector.
    2. Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Go to Next Step 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector 
  4. Inspect Power Window Regulator Motor Assy RH (Passenger Side) 
    1. Remove the motor (See FRONT DOOR ).
    2. Apply battery voltage to the connector terminals 1 and 2.
    3. Check that the motor rotates smoothly.

    NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminal except terminals 1 and 2.

    Standard:

    1. OK: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector (Master Switch >--< Switch) 
    2. NG: Replace Power Window Regulator Motor Assy RH (Passenger Side)
