Inspection Procedure

  1. Check Harness And Connector (Power Source) 
    1. Disconnect the P11 power window switch connector.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Check the voltage between the switch terminal 4 of the wire harness side connector and body ground.

      Standard: 10 - 14 V

    1. OK: Go to Next Step 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector (Switch >--< Relay) 
  2. Inspect Power Window Regulator Switch Assy Rear (Rear RH)

    1. Remove the power window switch.
    2. Check the continuity between the switch terminals when the switch is operated.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Go to Next Step 
    2. NG: Replace Power Window Regulator Switch Assy Rear (Rear RH Side) 
  3. Check Harness And Connector (Switch >--< Motor)

    1. Disconnect the P15 power window motor connector.
    2. Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Go to Next Step 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector 
  4. Inspect Power Window Regulator Motor Assy RH (Rear RH)

    1. Remove the motor (See REAR DOOR ).
    2. Apply battery voltage to the connector terminals 1 and 2.
    3. Check that the motor rotates smoothly.
      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

      Standard:

    1. OK: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector (Master Switch >--< Switch) 
    2. NG: Replace Power Window Regulator Motor Assy RH (Rear RH)
