How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures in the following.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK  ) 
  3. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
  4. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING 
    1. Pre-check (See PRE-CHECK )
    2. Circuit inspection (See AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  - See POWER WINDOWS DO NOT OPERATE AT ALL )
  5. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
  6. RESET POWER WINDOW MOTOR 
    1. If any of the power window switch illuminations is blinking after repair, reset the power window.
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Open the driver side door glass.
    3. Fully pull up the AUTO switch of the power window master switch until the door glass fully closed.
    4. Check that the AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally.
