Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK GPS MARK 
    1. Check that the GPS mark is displayed.

    OK: The GPS mark is displayed.

    1. NG: GO TO "GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED" IN FLOW CHART (SEE  GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED   ) 

    OK: Go to next step. 

  2. NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK) 
    1. Enter the NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS)  .
    2. While driving, compare the "Speed" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check that these readings are almost the same.

    OK: The readings are almost the same.

    1. NG: GO TO "SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN FLOW CHART (SEE  SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY)   ) 

    OK: Go to next step. 

  3. NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK) 
    1. Move the shift lever to the R or P position.

    Standard: 

    SHIFT LEVER POSITION - DISPLAY

    Shift lever Display
    P OFF
    R ON

    HINT:

    The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

    1. NG: GO TO "REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN FLOW CHART (SEE  REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT   ) 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
