Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Remove the master switch.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the switch connector when the AUTO switch is operated.

    1. NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY

    OK: Go to next step. 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MASTER SWITCH <=> MOTOR) (MASTER SWITCH <=> BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the D17 switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P12 motor connector.
    3. Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    4. Check the continuity between the D17 switch connector and the body ground.

    5. Reference:

      Check operation of the power window motor (driver side).

      1. Remove the motor (See OVERHAUL ).
      2. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
      3. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly.
      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminal except terminals 1 and 2.

  1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK:  

REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (DRIVER SIDE)
