- PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSY
- Disconnect the connector from the parking brake switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard:
SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTCondition Specified Condition ON (Switch pin released) Below 1 Ω OFF (Switch pin pushed in) 10 kΩ or higher - INCLINATION SENSOR ASSY
- Remove the combination meter assy.
- Remove the rear side cover from the combination meter assy.
- Connect the battery (+) to terminal C10-16 of the combination meter assy, the battery (-) to terminal C10-13 of the combination meter assy.
- Measure the voltage between terminals OUT and GND of the inclination sensor assy when inclining the combination meter assy forward and backward.
Standard:
When the sensor is level: Approx. 2.0 V
When the sensor slants (backward slant, approx. 5° minimum): Approx. 1.7 V
When the sensor slants (forward slant, approx. 5° minimum): Approx. 2.3 V
- TELLTALE LAMP ASSY
- Inspect the turn signal indicator light.
- Disconnect the O2 connector.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to the terminal 1 (2) and negative (-) lead from the battery to the terminal 5.
- Check that the turn signal indicator light blinks.
Standard:
Indicator light blinks.
- Inspect the resistance.
- Disconnect the O2 connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
