Rear Wheel Alignment: Inspection
- MEASURE VEHICLE HEIGHT (See FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT )
- INSTALL CAMBER-CASTER-KINGPIN GAUGE OR POSITION VEHICLE ON WHEEL ALIGNMENT TESTER
Follow the specific instructions of the equipment manufacturer.

Camber is not adjustable, if the measurement is not within the specification, inspect the suspension parts for damaged and/or worn-out parts and replace them as necessary.

If the toe-in is not within the specification, adjust it at the No. 2 lower suspension arm.
- ADJUST TOE-IN
- Measure the distance between each wheel disc and corner of the toe-adjusting cam then confirm that left and right distances are the same.
- No. 2 lower suspension arm length difference: 3.0 mm (0.118 in.) or less
If the left-right difference is larger than 3.0 mm (0.118 in.), adjust it by following the procedures below.
- Loosen the toe-adjusting cam lock bolt.
- Turn the toe-adjusting cam by an equal amount to adjust toe-in.
HINT:
- Try to adjust the toe-in to the center value.
- The toe-in will change by the following specifications corresponding to each graduation of the cam.
- 2WD Models: Approx. 3.9 mm (0.154 in.)
- 4WD Models: Approx. 3.4 mm (0.134 in.)
- Torque the lock bolt.
- Torque: 113 N.m (1,150 kgf.cm, 83 ft.lbf)
- Measure the distance between each wheel disc and corner of the toe-adjusting cam then confirm that left and right distances are the same.
