Transmitter Battery: Replacement

HINT:

The installation is in the reverse order of the removal. However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.

1. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER ASSY (See  DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER ASSY  ). 
2. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY 
   1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 screws and cover.
   2. Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery).
      NOTE:

      • Do not push the terminals with your finger.
      • Prying up the battery (lithium battery) to forcibly remove it will cause deformation of the terminals.

3. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY 
   1. Install the transmitter battery (lithium battery) as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE: Install with the battery facing upwards, taking care not to deform the terminals.
   2. Check that the O-ring is not distorted or out of place, and install the cover.
   3. Using a screwdriver, tighten the 2 screws.
      NOTE: If the screws are loose, it may cause faulty contact between the battery (lithium battery) and the terminals.
