Circuit Discretion

Unless the driver's door is opened then closed within 43 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to OFF from ON, the driver door ECU supplies the power source to the master switch at the same time when a signal is transmitted to the passenger door ECU. And then, the passenger door ECU supplies the power to the regulator switch.

NOTE: The power window system has a function with large-scale body multiplex communications. First of all, inspect the communication function depending on the "how to proceed with troubleshooting", and check there is no abnormality in the communication system. Then, finally proceed with the troubleshooting. Also, if the power window system has a malfunction in the jam protection function, the AUTO operations are prohibited. Because of this, confirm that the diagnosis code is normal before the troubleshooting.

INSPECT POWER WINDOW FUNCTION
1. Check that the power window operates via each power window switch.

2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
INSPECT POWER WINDOW FUNCTION
1. Check that the passenger window operates via the power window master switch.

2. OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH
