Section 442 (Combination Meter): Disassembly

- REMOVE METER COVER
Remove the 6 screws and the meter cover.
NOTE: Be careful of the high-temperature earth plate immediately after the ignition switch turned off.
Do not place the combination meter with its front side down for 30 min or more after it is disassembled. - REMOVE PANEL ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 8 screws and the telltale light assembly.
- Disconnect a flat circuit plate.
HINT:
When disconnecting the flat circuit plate, disconnect it holding the connector.
- REMOVE METER ECU PLATE
Remove the 4 screws and the meter ECU plate assembly.
- REMOVE METER CASE AND METER CIRCUIT PLATE
Be careful not to break 5 claws on the meter case when the meter circuit plate is removed from the meter case.
- REMOVE METER GLASS AND METER PLATE
Remove the screw.
