Brake Line

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Lexus LX 470 and 2001 Lexus LX 470. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Fill reservoir with brake fluid.
  2. Connect a vinyl tube to bleeder screw on brake caliper and place other end in a clear jar.
  3. Depress brake pedal several times, then loosen bleeder screw with pedal held down.
  4. When fluid stops coming out, tighten the bleeder screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Release brake pedal. Repeat steps  3 and  4 until all air in fluid has been bled out.
  6. Repeat procedure to bleed air out of brake line for each wheel.
