Reset Procedure With Run-Flat Tires

When the warning light comes on or blinks, or chimes sound, check the tire pressure and adjust as necessary. If the warning light is still on even after the tire pressure is correctly adjusted, the tire may be flat. Repair as necessary. If the warning light is still on or blinking, there is a malfunction in the TPM system. See appropriate manufacturer service information.

CAUTION: The deflated tire may be extremely hot, which may cause injury, so allow the tire to cool prior to handling.
NOTE: If the vehicle was either driven at a speed over 55 mph (90 KM/H) or driven over 100 miles with the tire pressure warning light on, chances of tire repairability are greatly reduced.
NOTE: If the customer has an alternate set of tires registered in the tire pressure monitor receiver, check those tires as well.

When the warning light blinks, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored in the tire pressure monitor receiver. See appropriate manufacturer service information.
