How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures on the following references.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK  ) 
  3. (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    1. When problem is not listed on problem symptoms table, proceed to A.
    2. When problem is listed on problem symptoms table, proceed to B.
    1. B: Go to step   5 
    2. A: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  4. PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING ACCORDING TO MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM 
    1. (See PRE-CHECK ).
      1. Inspection with the hand-held tester (ECU DATA LIST).
      2. Inspection with the hand-held tester (ACTIVE TEST).
    2. Circuit inspection (See AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE  to INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
  5. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
  6. RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 
    1. If the AUTO switch (driver side switch) light of the power window master switch is blinking after the repair, reset the power window motor (See RESET ).
