Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW LOCK SWITCH 
    1. Push the window lock switch OFF (normal) and check that the remote UP/DOWN function operates.

    1. OK: END 
    2. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the passenger side door window and slide door windows can be operated via each regulator switch.
    1. NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY 

    HINT:

    Inspect the switch with the non-operational remote function.

    1. Remove the master switch.
    2. Check the resistance between the terminals of the master switch when each switch is operated, as shown in PASSENGER SIDE SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS .

    Standard: 

    Passenger side switch 

    PASSENGER SIDE SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS

    OFF (Normal) UP 1 - 15, 6 - 13 Below 1 Ω
    OFF 1 - 13 - 15
    DOWN 1 - 13, 6 - 15
    ON (Lock) UP 6 - 13
    OFF 13 - 15
    DOWN 6 - 15

    Rear LH switch 

    REAR LH SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS

    Window Lock Switch Power Window Switch Terminal No. Specified Condition
    OFF (Normal) UP 1 - 10, 6 - 12 Below 1 Ω
    OFF 1 - 10 - 12
    DOWN 1 - 12, 6 - 10
    ON (Lock) UP 6 - 12
    OFF 10 - 12
    DOWN 6 - 10

    Rear RH switch

    1. NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY 
    2. OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - EACH REGULATOR SWITCH)
