Customize Parameters: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Check the resistance between the terminals of the switch when the switch is operated.

    Standard: 

    AUTO (driver side) switch 

    POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY (AUTO (DRIVER SIDE) SWITCH)

    Window Lock Switch Power Window Switch Terminal No. Specified Condition
    - UP 1 - 9, 4 - 6 Below 1 Ω
    OFF 1-4-9
    DOWN 1 - 4, 6 - 9

    Passenger side switch 

    POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY (PASSENGER SIDE SWITCH)

    Window Lock Switch Power Window Switch Terminal No. Specified Condition
    OFF (Normal) UP 1-15,6-18 Below 1 Ω
    OFF 1-15-18
    DOWN 1-18,6-15
    ON (Lock) UP 6-18
    OFF 15-18
    DOWN 6-15

    Rear LH switch 

    POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY (REAR LH SWITCH)

    Window Lock Switch Power Window Switch Terminal No. Specified Condition
    OFF (Normal) UP 1-13,6-12 Below 1 Ω
    OFF 1-12-13
    DOWN 1-12,6-13
    ON (Lock) UP 6-12
    OFF 12-13
    DOWN 6-12

    Rear RH switch 

    POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY (REAR RH SWITCH)

    Window Lock Switch Power Window Switch Terminal No. Specified Condition
    OFF (Normal) UP 1-16,6-10 Below 1 Ω
    OFF 1-10-16
    DOWN 1-10,6-16
    ON (Lock) UP 6-10
    OFF 10-16
    DOWN 6-16

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY (PASSENGER) 
    1. Check the resistance between the switch terminals when the switch is operated.

    Standard: 

    POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY (PASSENGER)

    Terminal No. Regulator Switch Specified Condition
    1-2, 3-4 UP Below 1 Ω
    1-2, 3-5 OFF
    1-4, 3-5 DOWN

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.

  3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR 
    1. Check the resistance between the switch terminals when the switch is operated.

    Standard: 

    POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR

    Terminal No. Regulator Switch Specified Condition
    1-2, 3-4 UP Below 1 Ω
    1-2, 4-5 OFF
    2-3, 4-5 DOWN

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.

  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (FRONT) 
    1. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
    2. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

    NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

    Standard:

    If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assy.

  5. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (REAR) 
    1. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
    2. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

    Standard:

    If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assy.

  6. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY RH (FRONT) 
    1. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
    2. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

    NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

    Standard:

    If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assy.

  7. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY RH (REAR) 
    1. Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
    2. Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

    Standard:

    If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assy.

  8. INSPECT POWER WINDOW RELAY (Marking: PWR) 
    1. Remove the relay from the instrument panel J/B.
    2. Check the resistance of the relay.

    Standard: 

    POWER WINDOW RELAY

    Terminal No. Specified Condition
    3-5 10 kΩ or higher
    Below 1 Ω (When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

    If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

  9. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Remove the courtesy lamp switch.

    2. Check the switch resistance.

    Standard: 

    FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH

    Terminal No. Condition Specified Condition
    1- Body ground Switch pushed 10 kΩ or higher
    Switch free Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assy.
